NCDA Forum

NCDA Meets 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m., the first Saturday of the month, at the
Weeki Wachee Senior Citizens Clubhouse at 3357 Susan Dr. in Spring Hill Florida.
In December we enjoy a Christmas party at a local restaurant.
Most monthly meetings consist of the following:- business meeting - raffle - members project display - tips and demonstration- painting a class project

 

Members and their guests gather for the enjoyment of decorative painting. We hold a meeting and have a painting project. Coffee and snacks are provided; members bring their lunch. Whether you are a beginner, experienced artist or have never painted before, you are welcome. No experience is necessary.

Please try to conduct business with the treasurer, seminar, ways and means, programs
and education folks before the meeting to allow them to be able to paint.
Class fees for Meeting Programs (3 hours) - $5.00/members
Fifth Saturday Extended Programs ( 6 hours) $15.00/members
Seminars $35/day/members

October  2 - Ruth Orwig will teach a welcome banner with a pineapple.
July 31 - Pat Landry - 5th Saturday Seminar
Pat taught a Christmas rosemaling design. Trees are available through Mayumi Cook if ordered by June 6.

August 7- Pat Otto taughta watercolor Dahlia and Butterfly.

PHILANTHROPIC TREASURE BOXES
You may bring in as many boxes as you want all year long. Give them to Carol Hechler. Cute animals and children's themes are the best designs.

Philanthropic Project for 2007-2010

Gini Conn and Carol Hechler collected many wonderful treasure boxes for children at Shriner's Hospital in Tampa.
Members are encourage to paint several boxes for this worth project.

Ongoing Philanthropic Project
 
Carol Kuszik and Dottie Ptaszynski are heading up our cookies and stuff for the troops.
Needed: Donations, phone cards, cookies, any dry snacks in small packages, candy, and toiletries.
We also knit head coverings, see below, but have enough for now. We make cooling neckerchiefs as well.
Cookies, articles and knitted hats sent to troops.

The weather is warmer now. Chocolate bars or cookies with chocolate chips must be omitted, We are sending cooling neckerchiefs and lip balm as well as cookies. See news page for list.
